Text Size: AaAaAaAaAa

District 158's Parent Tot Center will host a three-week series in October on the "Love and Logic" parenting system that was designed by child specialists in the 1970s.

Social Worker Kristin Schmidt will lead the "Love & Logic Parenting Series" on Oct. 16, 23 and 30 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the district's Parent Tot Center, 10910 Reed Rd., Lake in the Hills. The series will cover all aspects of the Love and Logic system, which encourages parents to let love and natural consequences guide parenting.

The nationally-renowned system was designed in 1977 by specialists Jim Fay and Foster Cline.

To register, contact Carla Elam, Parent Tot coordinator, at celam@district158.org. Event costs for a Parent Tot parent is $10. People and couples not affiliated with Parent Tot will have to pay $20 and $25, respectively.

The costs cover a workbook for the series.
