Mr. and Mrs. Shevel
MARENGO – Keith and Nancy Shevel of Marengo will celebrate their 35th wedding anniversary with a garden party accompanied by many friends old and new.
They met when Keith was honorably discharged as a sergeant E-5 from the Marines and resumed his career at Illinois Bell, where Nancy worked.
They were married Sept. 10, 1977, in Niles, with a reception at Raul’s Cantina in Chicago. In 1986, they moved to rural McHenry County and with the help of a few good friends built their log house.
