Police: Algonquin girl approached by driver

ALGONQUIN – A man, while driving a white van, approached an 11-year-old girl in front of her house on Sunday and told her to get into the vehicle, the police department said.

The girl was in front of her house on Foster Circle near Sleepy Hollow Road when she was approached by the clean-shaven white man, who was 33 to 37 years old and had brown hair. He was wearing a V-neck shirt.

Police said the girl ran inside her house and told her parents.
