Containers must have a prepaid yard waste sticker affixed to each bag or can. Stickers may be bought at the Municipal Center or any location that sells refuse bags.

Branches may be bundled to a maximum length of 4 feet, a maximum of 2 feet in diameter and a maximum of 50 pounds per bundle and also must have a prepaid yard waste sticker attached to each bundle.

Acceptable materials include grass clippings, leaves, branches 3 inches in diameter or smaller, brush, garden plants, flowers, weeds, bark pieces and pine cones.

Materials that are not allowed include tree trunks and stumps, branches larger than 3 inches in diameter, fence posts, railroad ties, firewood, rocks, sod or dirt.

The last day the drop-off facility at Knox Park will be open is Dec. 8. The facility can be accessed from Route 31.

There is no charge for this service to residents, but the vehicle used to transport the material must display a current city vehicle sticker. Allowable materials are the same for the curbside collection program.
