Patriot Day, Oktoberfest and more geared to seniors in McHenry Township
JOHNSBURG – McHenry Township and Senior Services Associates are teaming up to offer events for area seniors.
At 10:15 a.m. Friday, Andy Balafas of Vitas Innovative Hospice Care will present “The Heart of a Veteran” in honor of Patriot Day at the McHenry Township Senior Center, 3519 N. Richmond Road.
Members of the community are invited to attend this ceremony honoring all veterans, with a special remembrance of those who lost their lives on Sept. 11. Refreshments will be served.
