The McHenry Conference of the St. Vincent De Paul Society will host its annual Friends of the Poor Walk on Sept. 15.

The McHenry Conference, which consists of The Church of the Holy Apostles, St. Mary’s, St. Patrick’s and St John’s, will host its 5K walk at 8 a.m. Saturday at Veteran's Memorial Park in McHenry.

Besides the walk, there will be live entertainment by WZSR-FM Star 105.5 personalities Joe Cicero and Tina Bree, two Christian bands, Testify and Y-Not, speakers, snacks, entertainment, music and raffles.
