Big rig catches fire near saw mill
HEBRON – A tractor-trailer caught fire Tuesday afternoon near a saw mill in what fire officials said "could have been a lot worse."
Crews extinguished the small fire in about 90 minutes. Because of the fire's close proximity to piles of wood and as an extra precaution, crews from neighboring communities were called in.
Fire officials said the engine compartment of big rig caught fire about 1 p.m. at Northwest Wood Product in the 16000 block of Hebron Road.
