Learning Express Toys prepares for Star Wars invasion

ALGONQUIN – Learning Express Toys of Algonquin plans to celebrate its anniversary this weekend with crafts and Star Wars characters in the store Saturday.

This year marks the franchise's 25th anniversary and the store's fourth, said store owner John Flanagan. The celebration will include crafts from the Orb Factory and Creativity for Kids throughout the day on Saturday.

Members of the Star Wars 501st Legion and Rebel Legion will be posing for photos with visitors at the store as they work to raise money for next month's American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in Aurora. They will be at the store from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
