D-158 teachers reject terms
ALGONQUIN – Huntley School District 158 and its teachers union will return to the negotiating table after union members rejected a
tentative agreement earlier this week.
Negotiators from both sides agreed to a tentative deal Sept. 5, but the 600-plus teachers of the Huntley Education Association rejected it Monday. Officials from both sides remained tight-lipped about issues.
The school board and union requested a third-party mediator in August.
