HUNTLEY – Community members and alumni are invited to join in Huntley High School homecoming activities as students prepare to go “Under the Sea.”
• Sunday: Powder Puff Pre-Game Relay Races at 1 p.m. at the Huntley High School football field. In this event, teams of students participate in relay races and compete for prizes.
• Sunday: Powder Puff Football from 2 to 6 p.m. at the football field. The freshman girls (coached by Jeff Angle) take on the sophomore girls (coached by Patrick Odarczenko); then the junior girls (coached by Kim Hoffman) face the seniors (coached by Tom Kempf).
Halftime entertainment will be provided by the guy poms. Admission is $1 for students and $2 for adults. District 158 employees get in free with ID.
• Wednesday: The Homecoming parade line up at Old Timer’s Park at 6 p.m. and step off at 6:30 p.m. It will travel down Main Street to the municipal building. Community groups wishing to participate should

• Sept. 21: Homecoming Game. Sophomores play at 5 p.m. and varsity plays at 7:15 p.m. against the Dundee-Crown Chargers. At halftime of the varsity game, the Homecoming Court will be presented, along with their parents.
