Last Thanksgiving, the Siman family lost its family matriarch, Carlene Siman, to cancer. The last weeks of her life were spent under the care of Hospice and Palliative Care of Northeastern Illinois. To celebrate her memory and to thank the angels of Hospice, we are establishing a commemorative 5K race, the net proceeds of which will be donated to this amazing organization.

The inaugural McHenry Turkey Trot for Hospice will be held at 8 Thanksgiving morning, Nov. 22, at McHenry High School East Campus.
