3 people injured in separate overnight crashes
A total of three people were transported to the hospital following separate overnight vehicle accidents in McHenry County, according to authorities.
Emergency crews were called to the 7000 block of Route 23 in Marengo at around 3:30 a.m. for a report of a head-on collision, according to the Marengo Fire Protection District. Paramedics arrived to find two vehicles heavily damaged.
The car-versus-minivan collision is under investigation, according to fire officials. The motorists were wearing their seatbelts and airbags were deployed.
