CRYSTAL LAKE – McHenry County College will host a tour preview of the autumn California Coast and Sierra Parks trip at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Room B168-169 at the college, 8900 Route 14 in Crystal Lake.

The California Coast trip is scheduled for Sept. 30 through Oct. 6. Visitors will fly from Chicago to Los Angeles for a seven-day, coast-and-mountain California National Parks tour, which includes one-way, deluxe, private, dome-car train travel from Los Angeles to Monterey. 

Tourists will spend two nights in Monterey, with tours of the aquarium, followed by Carmel’s scenic 17-mile drive that includes stops in Pacific Grove and at Pebble Beach Lodge.
