To the Editor:

Our health and welfare is not only food products, but our environment as well. Recently, I went to see “2016” at the Regal movie theater in Crystal Lake. The movie was OK, but the audio was deafening. The sound was so loud it gave me a headache. What does it do to your hearing? We asked twice if they could turn it down to no avail.

Later, I called the health department. A woman there said there is no ordinance against it. They can do nothing about it. She said she would talk to her supervisor.
