Woodstock library to host ESL Tutor Recruitment event

WOODSTOCK – The Woodstock Public Library will hold an ESL Tutor Recruitment event from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday.

The featured speaker will be Marie Day, coordinator of adult education and literacy supportive services at McHenry County College. Sheo will discuss what being an English as a Second Language tutor entails.

Tutoring is a rewarding challenge and a great opportunity to make a difference in the community and in someone’s life, Day said.

The Woodstock Public Library is at 414 W. Judd St.

Those interested in tutoring but who cannot attend are encouraged to call Julie Fee at the library at 815-338-0542.
