Woodstock video gambling to get vote

WOODSTOCK – The City Council said it will vote Oct. 2 on whether to lift Woodstock’s ban on video gambling in liquor-licensed establishments.

A discussion and testimony at Tuesday night’s meeting included points by Stephanie Drougas, who represented Triple 7, a video-gaming terminal operator.

She talked about jobs that would come from lifting the ban and revenue it would bring the city.
