WOODSTOCK – The McHenry County Department of Health will conduct a “Seat Check Saturday” event Saturday at Walmart, 1275 Lake Ave., Woodstock.

From 9 a.m. to noon, certified child passenger safety technicians will check car seats for proper installation and advise parents, grandparents and caregivers on choosing the right car seat and proper installation. 

The check is free to the public and is a collaboration of representatives from the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office, Safe Kids of McHenry County and the health department in connection with National Child Passenger Safety Week.
