Mr. and Mrs.  Vayo

JOHNSBURG – John and Joyce Vayo of Johnsburg celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
Joyce Mueller and John Vayo were married Sept. 1, 1962, at Park Ridge Community Church. They first lived in DeKalb after their marriage.

He was an English teacher and wrestling coach for the Richmond-Burton School District. He has been retired since June 1, 1996. He enjoys the buying, selling, refurbishing and appraising of antiques.

She was a Title 1 reading teacher for Johnsburg School District until her retirement June 1, 2004. She enjoys time with friends, creating handmade cards and gifts and living the retired life.
