Quinn to head six-day trade mission to Brazil
CHICAGO (AP) — Gov. Pat Quinn wants to boost Illinois' business and tourism with Brazil, and he's thinking leading a six-day trip to that South American country could help accomplish that.
Quinn says his visit Brazil beginning Sunday marks the first time an Illinois governor has led a trade mission there.
The Democrat says Illinois' exports to Brazil last year totaled more than $2.5 billion, up 24 percent from the previous year.
