To the Editor:
Why on earth is state Rep. Jack Franks spending all of his time lately trying to get Chairman Ken Koehler off the County Board? Franks was elected to go to Springfield to straighten out the mess the state is in. The state of Illinois’ problems seem too complex for Franks to tackle. So he wants to fix something that is not broken. Fiddling in McHenry County while Springfield burns!
The problems that plague Springfield do not exist in McHenry County. Here, we live within our means and balance our budgets.
Go back to Springfield, Rep. Franks, and leave the running of our county to the people who have demonstrated how to successfully balance revenues with expenditures and who put the needs of the people of McHenry County ahead of any political rivalries.
