While Springfield burns
To the Editor:
Why on earth is state Rep. Jack Franks spending all of his time lately trying to get Chairman Ken Koehler off the County Board? Franks was elected to go to Springfield to straighten out the mess the state is in. The state of Illinois’ problems seem too complex for Franks to tackle. So he wants to fix something that is not broken. Fiddling in McHenry County while Springfield burns!
The problems that plague Springfield do not exist in McHenry County. Here, we live within our means and balance our budgets.
