CARY – Nominating petition forms for the April 9, 2013, Park Board election in Cary are available. Forms may be picked up from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Community Center, 244 Briargate Road, Cary.

A park commissioner candidate’s petition must be filed from Dec. 17 through Dec. 24. Filing hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, with the exception of Dec. 24, when office hours will be 8:30 a.m. to noon and 4 to 5 p.m.

Two seats on the five-member Board of Commissioners, which carry a six-year term, are open for the April 9, 2013, election.
