Sept. 29: Johnny Appleseed Festival in CL
The 20th annual Johnny Appleseed Festival will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 29 at various locations in downtown Crystal Lake.
The event will feature a farmers market, the Great Ball Race, live music, wagon rides, a petting zoo, pie-baking and pie-eating contests, craft fair, storytelling, food booths and more.
