Sept. 29: Prairie Fest in Woodstock
Prairie Fest takes place noon Sept. 29 at Pleasant Valley Conservation Area, 13315 Pleasant Valley Road, Woodstock.
This is a celebration of the life, lore, beauty and diversity of local prairies with hikes, children's activities, seed collecting and more. The event will feature live music, food available for purchase or bring a picnic lunch.
