UNION – A Marengo man was flown to the hospital Monday morning following a fall from a ladder at his place of employment, according to authorities.

Members of the Marengo Fire Protection District were called to INTREN in the 18200 block of W. Union Road in Union at around 7:45 a.m. for a report of a man with head injuries.

Crews arrived to find a middle-aged man with head injuries and blood coming from his ears, according to fire officials. Investigators are unsure how high the man was up on the ladder when he fell.
