CL man charged with arson, assault
CRYSTAL LAKE – A Crystal Lake man faces charges of arson and aggravated assault, among others, after setting fire to a large arcade game, police said.
Brian Van Scoy, 24, of 1393 Parkridge Court, also is charged with domestic battery, interference with reporting a domestic violence, assault, reckless conduct, criminal damage to property and possession of drug paraphernalia, in a Sept. 20 incident.
Police said they went to Van Scoy’s home, where he and an unidentified 26-year-old man were fighting.
