Huntley teacher pleads not guilty in phone, iPod theft case
WOODSTOCK – A Huntley High School teacher accused of stealing a student’s cellphone and iPod pleaded not guilty Wednesday.
Kimberlee L. Hoffmann, 42, faces one count of theft of mislaid or lost property, a Class A misdemeanor. She is the junior varsity cheerleading coach and has taught in the district for nine years.
Hoffmann’s attorney, Dan Hofmann, who is not related, said his client has been placed on paid administrative leave.
