Resident reports plane in distress
WOODSTOCK – After a report from a resident Tuesday evening, McHenry County sheriff’s deputies searched for a plane that may have been in distress but did not find one.
The report was made about 6 p.m. in the Bull Valley or unincorporated area, Undersheriff Andrew Zinke said.
“We had a concerned citizen who thought he saw a low-flying plane,” Zinke said. “As of right now, we haven’t located it,” he said about 7:30 p.m.
