Cary soccer program for kids with disabilities

CARY – The Cary Soccer Association will host a new program for youngsters with mental or physical disabilities.

TOP SOCCER is for children ages 5 and older with mental or physical disabilities to learn and play soccer.

There will be three sessions in October at the Loft Gymnasium at Holy Cross Church, 2107 Three Oaks Road in Cary. They run from 4 to 5 p.m. Oct. 13, 20 and 27.

The program is free.

Cary Soccer is looking for both participants and volunteers for the program.

The 28th annual Sheppard Schleisman Tournament will have a demonstration of TOP SOCCER.

The tournament is scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday at the Cary Grove South Park, 2000 Three Oaks Road.
