WONDER LAKE – A Wonder Lake man is free on bond, charged with possessing 4 grams of heroin and drug paraphernalia that sheriff’s deputies said they found in a traffic stop.

Stephen J. Anton, 24, of 7415 Cedar Drive, posted $2,500 bond on charges of unlawful possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver and unlawful possession of a controlled substance and was released from custody.

Members of the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office’s Intelligence Led Policing Unit stopped a vehicle at 5:43 p.m. Sept. 19 near East Wonder Lake Road and Huron Drive.
