Mental health experts to speak at symposium

BARRINGTON – In recognition of national Mental Illness Awareness Week, Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital will host a Behavior Health Symposium from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. today.

The Office for Mission and Spiritual Care at Advocate Good Shepherd has teamed up with counselors, physicians, and community leaders to share the latest information on mental and behavioral health.

The symposium will have Hugh Brady, president of the board for the National Alliance on Mental Illness, as keynote speaker, along with other mental health board members and physicians within the community.
