Fires ravages Crystal Lake mobile home

CRYSTAL LAKE – Fire crews quickly extinguished a Friday afternoon fire that left one mobile home uninhabitable at a trailer park along Ridgefield Road in Crystal Lake.
Firefighters were dispatched at 2:50 p.m. to Royal Oaks Mobile Home Park, 7920 Ridgefield Road, after the park manager spotted a trailer on fire, said Fire Battalion Chief Robert Kohley. Crews contained the blaze to the trailer and put it out by 3:05 p.m.
