SCORING SUMMARY Woodstock 0 7 7 7 –

Grayslake North 42, Woodstock 21

Game summary: The powerful Grayslake North offense dictated the pace of this game led by stylish quarterback A.J. Fish. However, the guests from Woodstock stayed within a single score heading into the final quarter. Two fourth quarter touchdowns, one Fish run and one Fish pass, put this game away and essentially put the Knights into a spot in the playoffs after six games.

Key stat:  Fish, who just short of 200 yards rushing, dictated the play on the field as he also threw for 184 yards in the air.

Top player: It’s hard to argue with the choice of Fish. He ran for three scores and threw for two more. All in all a pretty good night for the senior.

Quote: “Our offense is really really good,’’ said North coach Steve Wood. “We have the best athlete in Lake County (Fish) and we put him in a good position to succeed.”
