McHENRY – A 77-year-old woman was in intensive care Friday night after she accidentally struck five vehicles and rolled her sedan in a grocery store parking lot.
McHenry fire and police found the woman inside her upside-down car in the middle of the parking lot at McHenry Aldi, 1728 Richmond Road, when they arrived at 12:12 p.m., said Fire Battalion Chief Mike Majercik. She had to be cut from the car and was taken to Centegra Hospital – McHenry, where she was in intensive care and being treated for internal injuries, Majercik said.
