Quintana takes the mound for Sox's final home game

CHICAGO – Unless the White Sox manage to overcome a two-game deficit to the Detroit Tigers, the South Siders take the field for the final time today at U.S. Cellular Field.

The Sox cap their 2012 home slate against the Tampa Bay Rays today as rookie left-hander Jose Quintana (6-5, 3.60 ERA) takes the mound. The offense faces a tough test against Cy Young candidate David Price (19-5, 2.56).

The Sox have lost nine of their last 11 games, but are looking for their 46th home win which would be the most since 2008 (54 wins).
