I hope your readers check the facts that some of your opinion writers submit, since you don’t. There are sites such as politifact.com, truthout.com and factcheck.org for verifying almost anything.

In response to a letter from Jim Zoes, “Voting Plans,” printed Saturday, Sept. 22: President Barack Obama did not cut $716 billion from Medicare recipients. He stopped the overpayments going to providers. Seniors are now getting the doughnut hole closed
and, yes, they do get the benefits of Obamacare and will continue to do so.
