HARVARD – A Garden Prairie man injured in a motorcycle crash Saturday was listed in good condition Monday at Rockford Memorial Hospital.
The motorcyclist, John Jarling, 57, was charged with driving under the influence and unlawful possession of a weapon because he had brass knuckles, Undersheriff Andrew Zinke said.
The crash happened about 10:50 p.m. on Flat Iron Road near Streit Road. Jarling, who was riding alone, was thrown about 30 feet and suffered serious injuries, Zinke said.
