Spaghetti dinner to benefit Collier House

McHENRY – Collier House will host a spaghetti dinner to help raise money for its Wyoming-based retreat house.

Collier House is named in honor of Army Spc. Collier Barcus of McHenry, who was killed in action July 8, 2004, in Samarra, Iraq. Collier House offers a free, safe retreat for families affected by addictions, war and grief. It is a nonprofit corporation and all donations are tax deductible.

The spaghetti dinner will be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 3 at the McHenry VFW, 3002 W. Route 120, McHenry. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for children 4 to 9. Children 3 and under eat free.

In addition to dinner, there will be raffles, silent auctions, and live music. Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance by calling 815-385-4881.
