Stop video gaming

To the Editor:

Know when to hold them, know when to fold them. I think McHenry needs to follow its neighbors, such as Woodstock and Crystal Lake, and fold this one.

Video gaming is going to be just some additional problems for City Hall. If you do a little research, you will find that at least 60 percent of the 269 cities and villages in suburban Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, McHenry and Will counties have local policies banning video poker. We should do the same; it’s not worth the gamble in our town.
