Woodstock to host 
identity theft, scams talk

WOODSTOCK – The Woodstock Public Library, 414 W. Judd St., will host “Take Charge Illinois: Identity Theft, Frauds and Scams” at 6:40 p.m. Thursday.

Staff from the Illinois Comptroller’s Office will teach participants how to identify potential scams and frauds, and how to prepare for and protect themselves against identity theft. The staff also will address concerns of those who may have been a victim of identity theft.

Registration is requested, but not required and can be done online at www.woodstockpubliclibrary.org or by calling 815-338-0542.
