Blind media

To the Editor:

There are none so blind as those who refuse to see. This common adage conspicuously applies to the media’s disgraceful, sycophantic reporting of Barack Obama’s presidential campaign, resulting in the question that should be on the minds of every American: Why do the media seem to incessantly overlook the problematical aspects of Obama’s presidency?  This includes but is certainly not limited to:

• Household income has plummeted by 8.2 percent; poverty has risen by 3 million; health insurance premiums have increased by $2,370 annually; the number of people on food stamps increased by almost 12 million; and 1.227 million fewer people remain working since Obama took office.
