Abigail said while the chamber program is new, "it will help me get the word out to the community. It will give more of a connection to our store, our square and Woodstock."

The face of nonprofits is Suzanne Hoban, executive director of Family Health Partnership Clinic.

Kathy Rauch, volunteer coordinator for the clinic, serves on the chamber board.

"We all have a passion for what's going on at the chamber," Rauch said. "It's all about partnerships. The only way to get through these difficult times is to help each other."

Rauch said the chamber is trying to gather its resources.

"There are so many young, creative business owners," she said. "It's interesting seeing them merging with more established business owners."

Gray said there has been "a very positive reaction" to the chamber's new marketing campaign. "This sets us apart. No other chamber has done anything like this."

Four new businesses will be highlighted each month. For more information, call Gray at 815-338-2436, or visit woodstockilchamber.com.
