First-generation college students to share info

CARPENTERSVILLE – The Advancement Via Individual Determination program at Dundee-Crown High school is sponsoring a panel discussion and presentation for first-generation, high school-to-college students.

It will be at 7 p.m. Thursday in the annex of the school, 1500 Kings Road, Carpentersville.

Students and their parents will learn about college planning from Dundee-Crown alums who are first-generation college students.
