Huntley businesses experiencing power outages

HUNTLEY – ComEd is working to restore power to businesses near Interstate 90 and Route 47, after construction crews accidentally cut a power line in the area.

Businesses in Gateway Commons, along Oakcreek Parkway, are completely out of power, village officials said. Traffic signals along Rt. 47 from Del Webb Boulevard to I-90 are also affected.

Nearby residencies, including Sun City Huntley, have not yet reported power issues, officials said.

ComEd should have power restored by the afternoon. Construction crews have been building a full interchange at Rt. 47 and I-90 since July.
