Community Arts and Craft Festival to aid Jail Brakers

WOODSTOCK – Jail Brakers, the charitable organization that supports families coping with the incarceration of loved ones, will benefit from a Community Arts and Craft Festival from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Unity Spiritual Center of Woodstock, 225 W. Calhoun St.

Twelve crafters and artists will be displaying handcrafted items ideal for gift giving.

The family-friendly event also will feature live music, hourly door prize drawings and children’s activities, including a clown, temporary tattoos and Bozo buckets game.

Refreshments will be available.

Jail Brakers strives to help all ages maintain a family connection and positive hope for the future and aims to reduce recidivism and prevent intergenerational cycles of crime and incarceration.

The organization offers emotional support and financial assistance to facilitate family visits of prisoners.
