Driver gets 3 years in fatal DUI crash
WOODSTOCK – The driver in a crash that left his cousin dead has been sentenced to three years in prison.
Servando Ayala, 20, of Cary, pleaded guilty Friday to aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol.
About 1 a.m. April 7, Ayala had been driving a 1997 Ford Taurus on Elden Drive near Margaret Terrace in Cary when he hit a tree head-on.
