MCYO youth inspire
To the Editor:
The McHenry County Youth Orchestra continues to inspire our community with both its music and its character.
The recent donation of $3,018 made at the “Take a Stand for Turning Point” by MCYO President Kurt Kuehnart was made at the choice the students of MCYO. At a time of significant financial stress for the orchestra, the students chose to help others rather than themselves. Last Christmas this included a fundraiser for the Crystal Lake Food Pantry.
