Meijer hiring for the holidays
ALGONQUIN – Meijer plans to hire 900 employees in the Chicago area for the holiday season, including jobs at its stores in Algonquin and McHenry.
Overall, the company plans to add 12,000 workers for the busy holiday shopping season. Staffing needs vary by store, but company officials said all stores have positions available.
Meijer stores are open 24 hours a day, but are closed Christmas Day.
