The party of ‘no’

To the Editor:

If you watched the debates and the Republican convention, it should have become clear that the positions of the party and Mitt Romney are positions of “no.” They have repeatedly said “no” to 47 percent of the population, namely, the poor, blacks, Latinos, senior
citizens, gays, people receiving food stamps, and Medicare, Medicaid, health care and Social Security.

In addition to all of this, they have enacted laws in 15 states to severely limit the right of citizens to vote.

If that is not enough, they have wasted four years opposing every effort of the president to ease the economic pain of the American people.

This party and this candidate do not deserve our vote.
