MCEDC sponsors industrial energy efficiency workshop

McHENRY – The McHenry County Economic Development Corp. is sponsoring a free workshop about managing energy demand in manufacturing facilities from 8 to 10 a.m. Oct. 30.

The workshop is designed for plant managers, plant facility, process and energy engineers, plant controllers and plant maintenance managers.

Attendees will learn about managing energy demand in manufacturing facilities and how ComEd’s Smart Idea for Your Business program incentives can assist.

The workshop will be at the McHenry County College Shah Center for Corporate Training, 4100 W. Shamrock Lane, McHenry. Registration and continental breakfast begins at 7:30 p.m.
